Kelly is an Associate Licensed Counselor under the supervision of Joyce McKay, LPC.
Kelly received her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary inOrlando,Floridaand her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from theUniversityofCentral Florida.
Approaching counseling with the belief that it can be a life-changing experience where deep heart change can occur, Kelly enjoys working with women, couples and adolescents dealing with eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. She has a special interest in helping women recover from sexual abuse and childhood traumas, as well as an interest in working with couples who are struggling in their relationship or desiring deeper intimacy. She is certified in the PREPARE/ENRICH assessment, for her work with couples seeking pre-marital or marriage counseling.
Kelly also serves as an adjunct group therapist atMagnoliaCreekTreatmentCenterfor Eating Disorders inBirmingham. She has experience and training in group therapy, and has most recently led a sexual abuse survivors group. She offers daytime and evening appointments to accommodate a variety of schedules.
